Those look great! I'll be getting them when I get my bike. One question. Would you be able to make one with the front part bent up closer to the engine for guys that put on headers without the cross pipe? So it wouldn't look like something is missing.

I understand what you mean by changing the front for the headpipe crossover tube but it would be tough to do without the bike on hand to make the changes and to do a good job of it. Let me know when I can help you out. Ernie

    Hello Mr. Danger:wave
The farkle fest has begun huh?
FYI I've got one of Ernies skid plate setups and will confirm that it is a quality piece of work. Even the guys at my local BMW dealership asked me what kind it was and where they could get one.:D

Hey Kook, Very cool bike. It's got a stealth look to it. Thanks for posting the pictures. If any of the guys with HP2's out there that have puchased skidplates from me could post a picture I would appreciate it. Ernie

I've been asked a few times to make a skidplate for the KTM 950 adventure. I hate to say it but I've just been too busy. The skidplates for the beemers alone take up most of my spare time. I'm actualy taking a break right now just to work on my own bikes. Maybe someday. Thanks for thinking of me anyhow. Ernie

Hey J.T. I sent the skidplates for your GS adventure UPS ground yesterday. You might even have them by the end of the week. Let me know when you get them installed. Or better yet, post a picture. Thanks Ernie

    Hey Ernie,

I just got my skidplates from the UPS man yesterday, and installed them last night. They look great, and installed easily. Its amazing how much better they look than the stock piece of swiss-cheese skidplate that comes on the bike. Thanks again!

Hey Jeff, Glad to hear you received the skidplates OK. I just started work on a dozen more this last weekend. My wife had to work on Sunday so it left me with some quality shop time. Ernie

Hey Ernie, Nice write up in the owners news! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be getting one. I'm getting a piece of aluminium to try my hand at making a top box. I was thinking if there was enough left I might try making a skid plate myself, but probably waste alot of time and wind up throwing it away and getting yours anyway.:rofl
