Still being new to this bike (R80RT) I was wondering if you could tell me if mine is typical of the brand and model. My bike vibrates up to around 3500-4000rpm and then up to 5000rpm I have what is best described as a buzz in the handlebars and pegs. Neither is annoying and the bike runs well but I haven't been in the saddle 2-3 hours at a time either yet. If I have the bike on the center stand and rev it up to 4-5000 I have the same buzz so it's not drive line related and maybe that's what they do.

Actually I'd say you do need to synch the carbs.

Also check your engine mount nuts. 56ftlb I believe? Somewhere right in there. I find them loose ALL the time. Carb sync and timing light check for double image. That's about the best you can do without taking the engine apart. They always vibrate most right around/under 4000 rpm.

That is unless it is something else like a broken frame or something but I doubt it.

Thanks for the info, timing is good with no double images. I'll borrow a sync tool and look at the carbs this weekend.

I don't think it's unusual. My r80/7 does it too, it slightly buzzes until ~ 3,800 rpms in 5th gear, then the mirrors get all clear. At first I investigated it, cleaned the carbs, replaced the diaphragms, balanced the carbs, tried points instead of electronic ignition. It did nothing, so now 4,0000 rpms is the "standard" cruising rpm.
