Very cool coverage. Dario is really getting a lot of good stuff packed into these update. :clap

Can't wait to watch it on the big screen tonight. :happay

And as long as we're at it and on a rest day, to follow along as well as we can I've been using:
    http://trackingdakar.com/en/stage-6/bikes/standings/?toggle=-86
Since the first Dakar I managed to find here on Advrider.com.
I would urge any with the interest to check out the site and support it a bit.
Imagine being able to click a button and see all the Malle Moto riders? All the ADVriders? Coolness. :jkam

I would caution any new to riding folks that watching these updates from Lyndon's media team might lead you to go riding or if you're stuck in winter weather, sit in the garage on your bike making odd noises. :imaposer

His live fb video Lyndon said he spent too much time working on the bike and mentioned how hectic it was today...and then listed off 3 or 4 different people he helped with repairs today...:clap:lol2...good on ya.

Trackingdackar.nl is put together by Mischa every year, he puts a massive amount of time and effort into it, and pays for it out of his own pocket. The ASO even stole his format! If you are using it go down to the bottom right corner and donate to help support this great tool!

Go Pyn! The second half is yours!

To Lyndon's Dad and Mum - Congratulations on raising an outstanding young man. You should be, and I hope you are, very proud of what your son is accomplishing in this years Dakar, as well as his other bike and non-bike endeavors. Cheers! :beer

I love how it seems to be just another day in the office watching the stage videos.

    What a great attitude.

I would be in bed for days after just a few miles.

    Good show!

Hey, I overshoot corners just like LP does.

    But at 27mph.

    These vids have smashed it...

    Hey Folks.

Like you I am loving all the coverage, especially Lyndon's journey.

Just one really dumb question. Lyndon mentioned helping his fellow MM riders on their bikes. Doesn't that DQ one or both of them?

Go Lyndon. And thanks for bringing us along for the epic ride.

    Regards

    Kevan

They help each other within the boundaries of the regulations. I don't think they can help wrench on another competitor's bike, for instance, but he could advise verbally I would think.

Have we discussed what is the opening song on the 2018 videos? I'd love to purchase that version of Player - Baby Come Back.

EDIT: I've figured out- it's the Kill Paris remix of Baby Come Back.

Every time I hear the opening I see Megan Fox leaning over bumblebee in transformers. Races2places is a far superior production though, even if Lyndon isn’t quite as easy on the eyes as ms fox. :lol3

I think riders in Malle Moto can help each other out but no other outside assistance is allowed other than tyre changing (which is done by Michelin for Lyndon). So for example if Dario or Rick helped Lyndon work on his bike that would breach the rules but it's okay for Lyndon to help Oli Pain (or any other Malle Moto rider).
