+1 for DR350
Got a DR350s.
Anything to fit?
Thanks for the video earlier. I'd pony up for your stator and rectifier - but it looks like you don't have KLR 2008+ ones for sale yet, right?
Sorry guys, nothing for the DR yet. I'm in progress on 08+ KLR650 stator & reg, but it's gonna be probably February before I'll be testing. I'll post when available!
Thanks for the reply
Any suggestions where I could get one?
I would check with one of our dealers, ProCycle. www.procycle.us.
They are awesome guys, and carry a ton of Suzuki parts, including the DR. They might carry a stator for them, or know where to get one. My guy there is Matt, very helpful!
Thanks that would be much appreciated.
I have looked on procycles web site but didn't see one listed.
My stator is beyond repair so I would like to replace it with one that is as good as or preferably better than OEM.
I would have liked to support a forum member, but beggars can't be choosers.
Thanks again for the quick response.
That's cutting it close as I start my RTW in the middle of March. I'll keep my eye out and maybe will make it a last minute install!
I have the OEM 08+ KLR stator on the way. I'll start the prototype process as soon as it arrives. You guys will be the first to know when it's available.
I too would be interested in seeing the side by side data on the KLR 650 h/o stator. I have a generation 1 bike (2003) and have been thinking about this upgrade for a while. The only things stopping me from pulling the trigger on a purchase have been all of the forum negativity around past h/o stator upgrades, and the impression that the h/o stator doesn't really produce more usable power, it just shifts the power from low rpm's to the upper range. It sounds like you have the first problem solved; I have yet to hear a bad thing about your company or product<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
The graph on your site for the KLR stator does indeed look like it is stealing some power from the lower RPM range, but it is putting that power into a more usable range (~3500), that is hit when cruising. Am I reading this right?<o></o>
