The boys are up and ready to ride. :ricky

Packed up the bikes at 5:30 Am, having a bit of breakfast then riding north !!

As always it is a mixture for pure excitement mixed with a slight amount of trepidation as you head off on a new part of the trip. We have not been on our own yet in India, communicating, finding fuel, hotel, roads and to top it off riding on the left side of the road. So this will be interesting as we learn the ropes of riding in India!!

The preparation has been done and now the Adventure starts :deal :clap :happay

Wow, look at this road (21) just north!

May have to pan North, my GoogleFu is weak today.

I see Vashist on that map. Is it still a hippe hangout? It was 20 years ago- in fact it was hippie heaven. The hot springs must still be a thing there.

Is there such thing as a hippie anymore (other than in Oregon)?

    :lol3

2 years ago there were a lot of expats in Vashist, mostly Brits. The Israeli's tend to hang in Old Manali. For hippies and "counterculture" the place to be is the Parvati Valley particularly Kasol.

The best Enfield shop in Manali is in Vashist.

Waiting to hear what the guys first day on Indian roads was like. Delhi to Manali in one day is a long haul...
