Then I found the beginning of the coast walk from Werri Beach to Loves beach near Kiama. This is the sign at Loves beach, then I walked the return.

Just a very peaceful and beautiful Coastal hike.

    Some History of the area.

As I walk the last bit of beach.... back to my motorbike. Just enjoying the beauty.

Back to lee's Shed before the predicted rains started to fall. Lucky is looking better. and the rest of the cows were interested in why I was watching them :)

And this was the weather map this morning. Heavy winds and rain. I am working on some computer stuff, reading and waiting for the rain to clear before riding further south. No need to ride in the rain :evil

Thanks for continuing with the RR. I have some idea how much work it is and so appreciate it. I would love to ride down under but likely won't so I get to see it through your eyes.

That's a great hike and beautiful scenery. I walked that same area in 2003. Man 10 years sure went fast!

And thanks Mark for the info on the Gobi bags. Cheers! :freaky

One of the coolest helicopter rides I ever had was in a Squirrel up in Radisson, Quebec. The veteran pilot really showed me what the thing would do and it was crazy amazing time, at one point I thought we where going to invert the thing:rofl Super cool what Lee did for you:clap:clap:clap

    Keep on keeping on:freaky

Radioman, just stumbled upon your fantastic thread ; 2 days and still reading. There’s a lot of humanity in you, what you’ve done for Chris & others, the Alzheimer’s movement etc etc. Hence it was no surprise that I read many friends & strangers have been kind and generous to you. Most simply, it is karma. You write well and have inspired so many, as is evidenced by the number of views on your thread – my only advice, if I may, is to stay connected to the great number of people who’ve helped you along the way each day, all over the world. Stay dry, well and warm. Victoria is too cold, wet and overcast this time of year for me. :D

    Hi Mark

What is that winshield you have on the 800? I tried looking back in your RR but didn't see anything about it.

I have made some lifetime friendships along the way. And I will gladly stay connected to the people I have connected with, and also the ones that I have met through this thread, those met in person but also online!

As I was reflecting on this today riding..... Without all the ADV riders that have welcomed me into their homes, shared meals and treated me with great kindness and generosity, I would most probably have finished this ride already! Thanks to all of you that have hosted me, shared in the ride, and encouraged me on this journey! Forever grateful!

Had a couple days of very heavy rainfall, so I just relaxed and caught up on some reading and planning

When I looked out the wind was blowing and the rain was really coming down.

You can see the weather band!

It continued for couple days... with just a couple let ups.

I did make it up to Kiama to pick up a different Sim Card for Telstra as people tell me it is the best to have outside the cities. Coming out of the store, their was a bench with a plaque ..... Liked this one.

Then another look at the Blow hole!

Then Friday I decided to ride south to meet up with Mark ( ADV Screenname SlowBikeSmallpenis :lol3) who lives just south in Bewong.

As I rode down to check out 7 mile beach..... The rain started and poured as I rode south. The first day I have ridden in the rain for the better part of a year :D Not used to it :evil

Arrive at Marks place early afternoon, he finished up work while I made use of the time to keep reading!
Then of course like any quality ADV rider he took some photos!

We had evening "Tea" with his 93 year old Father who is amazing! and his sister at the local RSL. Was great to meet them!

Took a little look at the Kangaroo's in his neighborhood. Not the last I will see of these. These are grey Kangaroo's

And more varieties of Flora. Here are some bottle brushes.

Saturday Mark had plans to go to see a Rugby League match..... So he invited me along. That made it a threesome with his date, Sue :evil

Unfortunately the Dragons lost ..... Mark and Sue were cheering them on... They take their sports very seriously in Oz!

MArk will have to post some photos as I did not take any of the three of us!

Sunday We rode out to Nerriga Pub to meet up with a few other riders!!

Stopping to see a few sights along the way.

and of course I am experiencing the multitude of new creatures along the Australian roads. Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wambats.....

We arrive at Nerriga Pub, lots of bikes out for a Sunday Ride. Was great to meet the ADV riders who made it for lunch. ferals5, BergDonk, slowbike smallpenis, Dave and Lee.

Shared a great meal, lots of talk about riding and bikes!!

and a bit of a memorial about Ned Kelly. Will talk about this more later in the ride as I plan to stop at the Museum along the way!

Mark showed me a few sights on the way back to Bewong

Then out to Jarvis Bay .....

Before putting the bikes away for the day.

Had a great dinner at Mark's house Corn beef had been cooking all day! Yummy. Fortunately Lee joined us for dinner as well. Great Evening.

    Big Thanks to Mark :D
