Just down to my last week in Oz. Has been an amazing adventure with lots of amazing people and experiences!

This is the cheapest Brekkie deal I have seen.... :huh

I wandered my way around the Margaret River area.

    Decorated Cows around

    Some beautiful coastline

At this viewpoint I ran into some other travelers that I had met up north. :wave James. Safe Journeys!

Then down to Augusta to see the end of the road!

    More oceans merging!

:wave ran into Gary and Reileen who are riding their Harley with Trainer around Australia. I last saw them in Camooweal, QLD. Was nice to chat! Safe riding! :ricky

    The light house

    The birds hanging out!

    More cows...

Liked the title of this notepad....

More time riding through the Caves road and Karri Forest

Made my way to the east and stopped in Denmark :D

Took a day off to relax, and ride the local area. Working on some details and some other computer stuff.... Always things to manage.

Just one week and I will be leaving Australia. Feels very strange as I have been here 3.5 months and have enjoyed my time here.
Next week I will be giving my first Public talk on my ride at a BMW Club Perth meeting.

Just a little bit about my trip written on the windscreen. If I am not near the bike ..... people can get a sense of the trip.

Here is what I wrote on my windscreen.

Denmark, Western Australia is a smallish town on the southern coast. I decided to stay two nights to relax a bit and explore local area. Woke up to a perfect sunny and warm day! :clap

Got a few things done online and then took off on the bike to explore the nearby coastline and elephant rocks.

First stop for a beautiful white sand beach..... and no one around!

The water is clear and striking here

and a short walk out to see the elephant rocks.

Rode the short distance to Albany and met up with Paul and Alexa, Phil and Sue for Breakfast at WhaleWorld on the coast. :wave was great meeting all of you!!

Then spent part of the day wandering the coastline

It was a grey and cloudy day. The bridge of stone

and the Gap which is impossible to get a good photo of.... But was fun to see.

a familiar sight, as I walk back to my bike. Always awaiting me to get on and head to somewhere new!

Headed back to Perth today to finish up getting ready to ship out. It has been an amazing time in Australia :deal :clap Strange to be thinking that in just a 5 days I will be walking onto a plane and headed to another Continent. :D

Thanks for the journey thru Australia. The pictures renewed memories of when I lived, traveled and worked there in 1964-65 and again in 1978.
To see the changes is amazing. Keep up the Faith.

and also with up Michael whom I met in South America Ushuia. As he bought a 250 in US and rode for 9 months to fin del Mundo. Cheers Mate! Good to see you again and catch up!

Then all the last details to get ready to ship out.

    Cleaned my bike spotless CHECK

Count the Cash needed for the shipment. (more on this later) but it was easiest to pay at the bank with cash.

Go to bank and make final payment in Cash. CHECK

Rob had helped me source some new Stickers as I was almost out. Now in two sizes :lol3 (but we had to hand cut them up)

    Thanks Mate!

Then into BMW Perth to get my bike crated up!

Thanks to Jonas for having a crate ready for me!! :clap and David was a great sales guy that helped me out. Had another great experience with BMW shop! :clap :clap

They had the base pallet all laid out for me! Rode right on, finished cleaning up the bike, and removing part of fairing, and other bits of shipping.

Rode in with zero bars of fuel, disconnected the battery and removed the front wheel before strapping it all down.

All strapped down and ready for the final crating

    completed the crate and rails

    Bike ready for shipping CHECK

Then as arranged with Ivan at BikesAbroad.com.au They came to pick it up and deliver it to the airport !!

Thanks to Rob and Jon of the BMW Club of Perth for the opportunity to share a presentation of my ride around the world. This is the first one I have done, and it was great to share some photos, videos and answer questions! Had to start off with a bit of the history of the Journey with Alzheimer's disease that Chris my wife and I shared. Sad but true.

Then onto some fun stories and experiences! Thanks for everyone who came out of fairly short notice!! :clap

Must have been a reflective moment. I have been know to talk with my hands a bit :lol3

Real time updates...... Just arrived at the airport !! Off I go!
