Hey, I keep forgetting to check out this site.
I live up near Creedmoor. I'm jealous of you guys hitting URE. I went their a lot with my Jeep but I've never been on my bike.
Anybody up for some sand this weekend? ->
Where is that at Ron? Looks like fun.
It's in Lumberton just off of I-95 at exit 14 (74)
Its a whole 5 miles from Rons house. Lucky devil . Lots of fun, but I will be at Uhwarrie tomorrow in the Jeep.
All together it is about 20 miles long. But I don't know how the new interstate
has affected it. Have fun at Uwharrie Chad.
Did I see the Lumber River in the background through the trees??
Man, I-40 to I-95 from my place is 2 hrs and 15 mins. I'm at the Atlantic and Cape Fear.
How far is it if you go by US-74 til you reach I-95?
Not sure, I would have to do a map source.
I think it's 80 miles from Wilmington to the trail head.
Holy Cow, I didn't think he landed that hard, GET WELL Dave!!!
Yeah, that was me
I got a price of right at 4850 for OTD from Britt ( unbelievable) in Jacksonville. So I gotta move the XT
What day, I am in Jax untill tomorrow, will be home around 1100 am, I may be up for a few hours of sand playing
Thanks John. I plan on being back on my feet and riding ASAP.
Yeah, I didn't think it got me that bad either.:huh
Looks like fun. Looks to be around 2 hours from me in NW Raleigh (to Lumberton, anyways), and I just borked my leg, but let me know in another 2 weeks or so, might be a good chance!
Crashed on the rocks at Uwharrie last Sunday and the bike landed on my foot/leg.
Wearing riding pants/boots, or jeans/etc?
How long to recovery?
Had most of the right gear on. True MX boots might have helped. Probably 6-8 weeks total recovery time ( I'm getting old ).
Sorry bout the breakage. Hope you have a quick and uneventful recovery. I went today but the Jeep broke before I even aired down the tires
