Is that with those funny looking little girl bikes with no crossbar?
I hear they are man killers.
We'll be there. How bout u?
Don't know yet but if I'm not working that weekend I might leave Thursday evening and ride back roads there and get back Tuesday. I don't like to hurry unless I'm on the grid.
Cool. We're going out Thursday. Coming back Monday or Tuesday. Got a big group of guys meeting there from all over.
Friday (practice day) will be a great day to be there. Up close and personal with the best Trials riders in the world.
Ryan Young said most all the Pros bikes coming over will be sold after the event. That includes the Minders bikes.
I'd probably only be at the competition one day and be riding around the rest.
Very Nice! Thanks for sharing Tarheelwheeler! When I learn how to walk and chew bubble gum at the same time I'll try trials next!
Played on logs and rocks today with TW ,Magellan, and DW at the FHF. Testing our new school "skills".
What's the 1st rule of "Fight Club" man?
I'd stay off A51 til next weekend. Everyone is out there.
And everyone can hear them too!! :eek1
Yeah, makes me excited to get back to Afghanistan so I can get some peace and quiet.
Sent from the voices in my head and transcribed by their drinking buddy...
What the heck were they dropping/firing out there this weekend? I was out in the yard yesterday playing catch with the boys and it sounded like "fire for effects" for about an hour :huh Somebody find a giant warehouse full of MOABs that needed dropping?
Most likely Triple 7's, or officially known as the M777 Howitzer. One sexy piece of kit...more titanium in it than RV1's SX bike.
The boys on the planes call them "AMANDAS", dont know if its an acronym or not, we didnt get into it. Apparently its a 500lb bomb they drop out of the back of c130's! This info came from my neighbor who perked up when ever we heard them yesterday! We live out in Jackson Springs, so it is a pretty good distance from the "area" of bomb runs. He is a vet who spent half his military career on those planes and the other half doing the secret stuff, long story!
Well that last round knocked the blinds down in the kitchen of the fire station. :eek1 Looking at my TOPO maps the station is 6 miles from the range. There are neighborhoods closer than we are. Would hate to have my house there this week.
I did not see anyone other than some kayakers ...
Aerial bombardment on A51...I don't think so.
