Speaking of that, any word on the bike posted as stolen earlier?

Hi Matt, you should visit Outback atv in Laurinburg. Lots of single track and a great group of riders. Pm for more info on local stuff. Welcome to the group.

Anyone know of a way to get a bike titled as "offroad" registered? I know that things like proper lights and blinkers would need to be added, but once that is complete, how do I get it plated? Is it possible? Does the Vermont trick work in this situation? I'd love to hear if anyone has pulled this off, and how they went about it.

    Thanks, Dan

Spring had not yet come to the higher elevations. The lower elevations were bursting with blooms.

    Which bike?
Being friendly helps a lot. I've got a 2008 ktm xcf plated.
    (didn't even have a spark arrestor. :) )

When you do it, just do the headlight, tail light and brake light.
You don't need turn signals in NC. But if you have rear turn signals, you HAVE to have front turn signals. (Stupid)

Very cool road trip Magoo! Looks like you're missing your old riding buddy Sweet Feed. How's she doing up North?

Thanks TW. You would have loved the ride! It was a last minute change from a planned trip to Mississippi and worked out well. Thanks for the company Bill and Liz!

Sweetfeed ... She's rocking!!! ... and is really missed here! Hey SF! You should have been on the ride but I get it; you're on a mission; and we're root'n for you!!

She opens her new store in Beverly MA, outside of Boston, very soon. Lucky people there! :dg

So there was a huge crew (read: horde) on Reilly gathered by a set up memorial or something near the waffle house. Then they held up traffic for five minutes doing burnouts and heading north - I estimated about 100+ of them... Anyone know what was up or have more info? (Tweets, vidjoes, facerbooks, youtubers?)

    No. Not anything positive anyway.

They are checking a lead on a part or 2 that popped up on E Bay.

If it is them, then it has been stripped and being sold off for parts. :cry

Seller is out of SC. Not too far from the state line. In a way I hope they found it and in another I hope it isn't and they recover the bike.

Sucks, sorry to hear that T6D. I guess with the weather getting better the seasonal riders will be out and thefts will be on the rise. But it blows to have someone enter your property and take it from where you rest your head at night.

    Found it.

Outsydaz Street Rydaz (I can't believe I just spelled that) lost a rider recently. That was the "memorial service".

It is. Pretty much between Greensboro and Raleigh. But on the DRZ the road could be made of Megan Fox's ass riding into a horizon of Scarlett Johanson's rack and I would still hate it after 100 miles.
