I have been contemplating a bike trip to Wellsboro, PA this year to watch the STPR Pro Rally. A days worth of high-speed fire road driving in rally cars.

    www.stpr.org

I have spectated this event 3 times. I must say I think the idea of a bike to reach the stages is likely the best idea. There is a wonderful campground I have stayed at before, with a water crossing no less!

I was going to go it alone, possibly. Would anyone be interested?
I've already posted in another site to spread the word.

It's the 1st week in June.

Hope to see some of you there.

With less than a week to go, 95% of the stuff for the bike is in.

    4-person tent secured
    nerf bars
    bags
    etc.

just installing, loading, testing to do.

I suppose this is last call and short notice for anyone interested in the trip. Just crossing fingers to hope the weather holds out!

So far I've found another rider to meet up with on Friday 6/3, in PA :rofl

Just got back from COG's NE Area Spring Fling Rally there this past (long w/e). And, I suspect you're talking about the Stony Fork Creek Campground with the water crossing. :lol3

Teeter here in Richmond has been to that rally a couple of times. You might wanna post up in the Richmond Chatter forum to see if you can spurn some interest.

And while in the area, make sure you hit Wolfe's General Store in Slate Run for an awesome sandwich. I usually grab one and head up to Hiner View to enjoy the view and nature while I gobble it down.

    Have fun; ride safe.

    I will Guy thanks. :)
I haven't had much luck finding interest, but I suppose there is always next year! Love a good sandwich! I think I'll be sure to stop, once I know where it is in relation to base camp

Not sure about breakfast (can't remember the menu), but given the amount of (fly) fisher-persons that visit that area, they very might. Check out the awesome fly assortment they have for sale on the lower level. If it ain't there, you'll have to make it yourself.

Awesome breakfast in town at the Wellsboro Diner tho', JIC. Corner of Main and Roosevelt.

I've been up to Wellsboro prolly 6-7 times over the years for various M/C events. I love the place/area.

    Have fun!!!
