easy enough, fresh tracks!
Its going to be awesome! Looks like African desert
This is gonna be an amazing event!
Thanks Scott and Darren for hooking us all up. It's like a gift to be able to have another event here at home. Anyone with an interest in rally has to make a point of event.
What if the "fresh tracks" head off the wrong way on occasion, just to throw you off? In several of the HP sections I've been riding WAY to the side or intentionally heading off at slightly the wrong heading, just so there are no "correct" tracks to follow. What's your navigation strategy again?
ah but you said road, not HP....
in my case, lots and lots of motorcycle tracks
I read it as...
I will have a bunch of fresh track to follow !!!!!
Let hope my knee heals faster !!
don't we have to follow the little coloring book we have on our bike?
Got my new knee and all is good! Still waiting for your volunteer list and want be there to help during the Rally.
We have TONS of volunteers. If you want to join the growing list, you have to send me an email. That's how I'm tracking those requests. Volunteers will mostly be working gas pit or road crossing traffic control. We may already have more volunteers than we have tasks for them. The only sure way to be a part of this is to enter as a competitor or get a Bivouac Pass as a racing crew member or a "Non-racing Enthusiast" (see entry form).
These roads are much easier to see. We're still looking for some torn-up, whooped out, rocky, dusty roads, but haven't found any yet.
Fun but show me something the airhead wouldnt like
Hey Scott, Maybe you can call Johnny and get JCR involved, since he now has a big opening in there race schedule...
Nice work Scott. I don't have the budget to swing it but I'll be following with great interest. VERY cool/Well Done!
This, lots of this!
Then again I've been through there on a Harley powered sidecar, 850 pounds plus 2 riders, with only 1WD, so how difficult could it be?
are you going to put some flags or markers here and there in the dunes so we can kind of check our position and adjust roadbook?
