    Another new feature goes live...

GPX export now includes multiple track versions:

    1) The complete Rally Navigator route as a single track. Roadbook entries appear as waypoints with matching numbers and descriptions.

    2) The complete Rally Navigator route broken into multiple tracks, each with only 500 waypoints and each named "ACTIVE LOG 001" and so on. Very Garmin friendly.

A single 500 point truncated track may be included in the future as well.

So when i have a .gpx file and waypoints are the same as some trackpoints can I upload that and RN recognize waypoints as roadbook points.

User can now select the main Tulip road type -

Simply Single Click the road type in the Waypoint Editor and the Main tulip arrow will change from its default "Secondary" road to either "Main" or "Off Track" All subsequent Tulips will also switch to the new road type - until you select another. Very smart! On long routes it can take a moment for all tulips to update, be patient.

Control system connected between roadbook and handlebars, so the bike turns itself, at the correct tulip location? I need that so I can navigate correctly!

Correct guess goes to Uller - we are very closer to releasing a "Snap to Roads" feature - will be a huge time saver.

Scott is almost correct - We are developing Rally Navigator with a "Throttle Control Plug-in" that connects directly to the EFI system of most motorcycles - it takes full control of your throttle position based on road types and upcoming Waypoints (Dangers, Ditches etc.) User can select the level of risk they are willing to take, or desired finishing position and Rally Navigator will handle the rest!

    Just steer and hold on.

Looking for Beta Testers - anybody interested?

Roads, in the field, what base, i guess G but also OSM?

Osm roads( track path) in the field are the only ones with access right on it, not every one.

In JOSM people may use Bing Maps Aerial to correct the place on the road.
    Layer OSM roads.
Could it be cross sticking choice.

I my surroundings i see OSM edits much faster when a way is changed.

Since the newer features have been added, I'm unable to create a new route.
I select the GPX import and it never loads
the progress indicator just goes on forever..

This is occurring on 2 different computers
One is running XP & GE-7
    One is running Windows 7 & GE-7

I have created several routes on the earlier version but I was using GE-6

Plenty of others using Windows and GE 7 combination. What browser? You may have a buggered GE install, or there is something about that GPX file. If you email me the file I can validate the file.

Any errors appearing in the Javascript console of your browser?

    Hallo rally navigator gurus,

what's about the print roll thing ?

Most of us do not have a print roll printer so we have to save the file and bring it to a print & copy center. Is the file which i can save ( http://www.rallynavigator.com/routes/90/print_roll ) a usefull file that they can use to print out 1 roll of roadbook ?

How i can mange it, when i want more roadbook rolls ?

Normaly i saved the roadbooks in a pdf file and put the single pages together in adobe illustrator, saved again as a pdf file and can get out 5 rolls of roadbook ( paper is 90 cm, wide, roll is endless )

Now i tried to save the print roll file as a pdf file, but look , what is comimg out ???

Yes, we do the roll printing as you describe:

    1) Press "Print Roll"
    2) Configure a custom paper size to be very long
    3) Print the file to a PDF
    4) Take the PDF to a local print shop.

Steps 2 & 3 can vary between Mac and Windows. I use a Mac and it was very easy and PDF printing is built into the OS. I don't know how this works in Windows. I think you need to install a "PDF Printer Driver".

By the way, your route (id 90) renders in roll form perfectly and saves as a PDF just fine on my Mac.
