From what I understand Sylvia thinks it is at the dogleg on the bottom westward section of the outward leg... but Too Old think it is with the point where the course returns back to the east?

they (Barreda and Duclos) have just passed sylvia's tip... and nothing on POSIS...

and Too Olds tip makes sense (as far as positioning a CP in order to respect the fullfillment of the course route)... but neither location shows any sign of an intersecting road or track where the CP might be accessed from... so...??? :huh Who knows? I have not been able to find any sort of a leg/route map... on the NPO site... only a vague description of the stage.

Maybe to let the Baja get away - they have been too quick?

My screen seems to refresh weird. Or maybe it is the timing of the trackers that is messing with me. Or, maybe I should go to sleep. :D

I was thinking that a 75 kph average speed would take them 2:42 to finish the stage (203 km). That would put them into the finish around 11:20.

What are the overall avg. speeds of the front runners in this type of terrain? I see the Baja class did it in 2:51.

85 kph puts them in at 2:23.
