    Mak,

I'm looking for some replacement lights like those. Where did you get them? My sources are coming up dry.

Honestly, I'll probably just switch to LED, but these are the original ones.

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hey Dave,

You can get those Triom lights from any KTM dealer, as they were used on a couple of bikes including the first 660 Rallys.

Part number is 58414001000, list price is around $150 but you can find them for $118 here:

    Hey Dave,
Check the Aprilia Dealerships, the Trioms are used in the Aprilia Scooter appropriately named Rally

I need an oil cooler and nothing else fits or I don't like what available like a Jagg cooler so I designed my own. Any feedback?

Little bit of a redesign and this is nearly what it will look like on the bike. The drawings are more advanced than what's on the bike just now. I went with a 2mm fin @ 2mm spacing. I'll make a ~1mm gasket to fit between the body and the cap and will secure with M6x25 machine screws and I've put dowel slots into the cap to body holes. I'll use the standard valve cover dowels. The rear bracket will be M8x20mm into the threaded body mounting holes.

I'll use 3/8 NPTF to 3/8 barbed 45° to 3/8 transmission/oil line and into the oil return on the bike on the right side and I'll have to take it through where the R/R is and move that into the airbox I suppose.

So after using ours at numerous UK rallies and the Hellas Rally in Greece, I can say we're pretty pleased. No movement or rattle, no noticeable weight at all, rock solid roadbook (carbon and twaron) and trips, couldn't be happier (pics on page 89)

    Time to post some updates.
After getting the ground plate and finding some time in the last few days I could update my rallye cockpit on my BMW G450RR.
Now I hope everything will string enough to ride in September some offroad trails in Romania as a first test
for the Intercontinental Rallye in 2014 from Almeria to Dakar.

    Here are some fotos:

Nice. How's the tank end of the fairing attached? Or is that a works in progress? Also, is that a stock garmin mount?

    Ladies & Gents,

    FYI......

Crash tested the HDB tower and hand guard assembly in the Serres Rally last week. High speed impact caused the bars to completely rotate and the MD road book housing to be bashed in.

No damage whatsoever to the HDB navigation tower. Great product. Highly recommended.

    Cheers

Yes, this is the stock garmin mount which comes with the motor-bike edition.

What do you mean with "How's the tank end of the fairing attached? Or is that a works in progress?"
Sorry, I do not understand what you mean.

I see there is a post with a bolt directly out the front of the tower for the fairing... are there other brackets the fairing is attached to? Tank end, for example, Neduros Dakar bike used webbing to attach the fairing to his tank... Sorry for not being clear. Newborn + shift work = no sleep = mentally retarded :)
