I'm trying to help a friend over the phone setup his new Montana 610T to not display the current track as it's being recorded. On my 600 it's Setup>Tracks>Track Log>Record, Do Not Show. But I'm not finding the equivalent on his newer 610T. What am I missing?
    Thanks,
    Jay

If nothing else, maybe you could make the current track color Transparent or some very hard to see color

I wonder if the newer Montanas have gone to using 'Activities/FIT files' instead of tracks by default. That's how it is on my eTrex Touch35.

Just found the manual online. Looks like they have done the same as the Touch but all is not lost.

Selecting an Output Format for Saved Tracks
Select Current Track > > > Setup Tracks > Output Format.
    Select an option:
To save fitness information with the track, select Tracks (FIT).
To save track information only in a more widely compatible format, select Tracks (GPX).
To save to both output formats, select Both (GPX/FIT).

So once you set it up for 'Both' or 'Tracks', you will see it'll be more like your older Montana.
