Brand new for this year is ... drum roll ... The Tiddler to the Top! - a 120-ish mile run for bikes 250cc and under. There's no fee or cost to participate. There will be an awards ceremony of sorts with some ridiculous awards. Maybe YOU can win "Longest Lunch Break" or "Best Checkpoint Selfie" or something else I make up at the last minute [IMG]

    Come have some fun!

How much is a lodge room and how much is an rv site? We're trying to make this work.

I honestly do not know. The park folks set the rates and take the reservations and payments for those accommodations. We only handle the tent folks. You'll need to call the park and tell them you're part of the Rich Mountain Rendezvous group. There is a group reservation number on the RMR site. They had some new staff people last year and it caused some confusion about the group rate and room availability so you may want to keep that number handy as well.

What's the preferred method of travel during this event, street bike or dual-sport? We have both and have ridden both in the area but we cannot haul both at once.

For this one I'd say 80% of the people will be street only. There will be people with bigger dual sport/adventure bikes. And ThomasM with his Honda CRF250L :-) So mainly street, but some dirt roads. You probably won't find anybody riding really rough dirt or trails. Except Thomas. Not sure he pokes his head in much here, but he is more active on Two Wheeleed Texans if you want to link up with him.

It definitely is a mixed bag o' nuts at the Rendezvous. :-) Arkansas highways and byways are fantastic fun so road bikes of all sizes have a blast. Off-road options are a stone's throw away, too, ranging from "fun challenge" to "super gnarly have good insurance." Since we don't typically organize rides, folks just sort of group up and hang out doing whatever suits them most at the moment. The Tiddler is a new event but, as far as I know, it's the first we've posted as part of the Rendezvous.

Glad you'll be there! Sorry you have to choose - I do not envy you that!
