    Hi guys,
I am planning a ride across Nevada, and I was wondering if anyone had gps tracks for the areas circled in red. Google maps will route you across there but I am not sure if it is actually possible to do so.

    Thanks

Sorry if I wasn't more clear. If you look in the areas circled in red, you can see I managed to use google maps to make a track cutting corners off the highway and onto dirt roads. I wanted to know if anyone had GPS tracks of roads in these areas and if it was actually possible to ride there.

I don't know. If it were me I would try to determine if it was BLM land, which being Nevada it probably is. If so there might be a BLM Travel Management Plan for the area showing which roads are open. But you have to figure out which ranger district each parcel is in.

I would also look at the roads in Google Earth to see if they really exist.

Finally you have to accept the fact that roads in the valleys in Nevada can be very sandy. Looks like you are on a non-sand friendly bike.

You can probably get GPS tracks from Countdown's private library on GPSXchange.com
