Meet Richmond Macca's at 7:30am on Saturday for a 8 start.
*Richmond to ZigZag via Bells Line of Road.
*ZigZag down Blackfellows Hand track to Wolgan Rd Lidsdale.
*Lidsdale up the highway to Capertee.
*Capertee to Sofala via Turon Gates.
    *Sofala to Hill End.

Stay over night at Hill End.

    Sunday;

After that I'm not sure. Open for suggestions. Maybe via Jenolan and Wombeyan???

If you are doing Wheelbarrow Ridge Track from the Bicentenary Road end you might be better off meeting at McGrath's Hill Maccas.

Go out through Pitt Town, South Maroota and cut back towards Sackville to get on the top end of the River Road, take it all the way to Wiseman's but make sure you cross over the Webb Creek Ferry (it is the one at the Wiseman's end of the River Road, not the one on the other side of the town).

It is a good run, probably worth refueling in Wiseman's before crossing the Webb Creek Ferry for those with smaller tanks, you won't get fuel again until either Kurrajong or Bilpin, depending whether you come down over Wheeny Creek or go out via Mountain Lagoon Road.

Hopefully I can fund some tyres by then. The tourances are getting bit slippery.

    Scott,

What type of tyres are you looking for?

Send me a PM, I may have some that I'm prepared to sell, brand new Anakee rear in the shed and a half worn set of K60's [but they are Strom size so only the rear would suit yours], not sure I have anything that would suit the front of the Tenere but will check though.

AdventureMoto do good prices on Mefo Explorer, Mitas E07 and Heidenau K60 as well as other brands and usually have most stuff in stock.

Looking at what you are doing riding wise I think you would enjoy some more dirt oriented tyres, I think the only thing keeping you from chasing down the two runaways today was your tyres [whereas for me it is lack of dirt skills :cry ].

    Hey Scotty,

Though we haven't met as yet, we do share our choice in machinery.
I've had two sets of rubber on mine, first set was a mix of Dunlop 606 (front) and Mitas Dakar ER09 (rear).

The front end was very vague on the tar with the 606, the rear was excellent. I'm now on Conti TKC's and they rock :clap

Now back to the fun of the up coming Hill End run.

Dammmmmmmm I'd love to come out, but again going for 6-7 days to PI for Supers I might not be popular.
It's on a very short list of rides to do very soon, before all the others of course.

I think that would be better pv. Otherwise the day would be huge and doing a loop out of the way.

It's not a big town so we'll have no issue meeting up. A bit of quality time at the pub on Saturday night is in order I think.

What do you guys think about meeting a bit earlier than 9? Bit more time to relax and see the sights of Hill End.

I'm happy to leave earlier. Just set a set time time leave so if we meet for 7:30 and leave for 8:00.. So by 8:00 have your bike already fuelled and your maccas feed. So we don't go ok let's go and then we need to stop straight away for fuel.

In saying that if people are late or having issues, were not gonna be jerks and go we warned you.
I think that all made sense lol.

I'm excited for this trip! Got some new tyres fitted.
