Restoring this 81 Honda Cub

    I just bout this Honda today for 500.00 Runs strong just looking for allitlle help restoring it I got about a grand too put in to it I live in Cocoa beach FL

    It doesn't look like it needs much! About $50 worth of air box cover and some other bits

    The seat seams aren't even split. "They all do that" by 5000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.

    So it needs a legit legshield. I guessing the seller cut it down because it was cracked. If possible, get an original one off of eBay. The reproductions just don't fit we'll at all.

    The chrome bridge retainer to secure the bottom of the legshield

    A knob for the battery cover to make getting into it easier

    A front rack - useful and completes the look!

    Cut the rest of the plastic off those rear shocks

    Get a cover for the air box, and possibly a new filter

    Ride the shit out of it! I've put thousands of miles on my two

    Also, FL is flat, so stepping your front cog up a tooth will give you a better top speed by 2-3 mph, and less high rev whine
