And then the road turned to gravel.

I was using a map provided by the Tourism Department at the border and staying on the bold lines, plus all of the roads I was using were in the base map of my GPS. But this road later turns into a very eroded dirt road crossing mountain passes. Of course it was no problem for the KTM, but I did spend most of the day in second gear! :evil

A little bit dusty in places. :rofl

I like these road! :deal Ana, not so much! :huh But the roads are still easier than the road to her house, which is first and second gear travel all the way!

They are working on some parts, but here they just seem to be concerned with dust control.

Then we stopped for lunch. I thought Ana was going to take this pet monkey with us when we left. She took loads of pictures and spent substantial time with it. What kind of monkey is it!

I had a drunk badgering me for a bit. Wanting money and talking a bunch of crap I didn't understand. After a bit, I began to become firmer with my ignoring him. This guy told him to leave and he did.

We rode about 50 miles of dirt and gravel today, but the most testy for me, was hard packed dirt and asphalt with a thin layer of pee gravel on top! Very slippery! :eek1

The thing about being out on the more remote roads is that you are in the middle of the scenery as opposed to viewing it from afar.
