    Home safe,

    Had fun thanks everybody

Well I dropped the Vstrom so the group identity is preserved. The regular route was too much for ME, Vstrom and the 1/2 used Anakees. I screwed up and followed a group into a hero and dropped it trying to turn around. Then on a #2 found a tire sized holes and only with 2 other guys could we lift the beast free. So when I see I am on route 2 I pointed her home.

If there is a next time the TW will be doing it

I had fun will do it again just brought the wrong tool

I definitely enjoyed the camping and the group

    Hope you all are happy

Home safe and sound. Sorry I left the group , I didn't realize I was the only one who turned right to head to the Hero and SuperHero sections. You should all be glad you didnt follow. Oh my freakin God ! The tunnel road .5 mile section was tough but I got through it, so I figured why not try Old Florida Road. I missed the turn off and ran into 5 guys from Jersey on big KTMs who also missed the turnoff. I turned around and found the road with the sweep riders parked there waiting for the last guys to come through. They turned the Jersey Boys away and told them not to take the Adventures in there. A wise decision. I went in. The roughest nastiest riding I have ever done. 4 miles in first gear. Picking your way over couch sized rocks, every turn I prayed for a break, but it does not end. The sweep riders caught up to me and stayed with me till the end. Totally whipped. I did get most of it on video. I only crashed once and turned the camera off at that point. I got back to Otis about 5 oclock and home by 7. Sorry for leaving the group hanging, I didn't realize what I was getting myself into. Still had a great time.

Damn Drew, sounds rough. Makes me want to bring the small bike back up there. Well that, and all the scenic views and endless dirt roads and trails. :clap

There's some good video of what may be the "super" hero section towards the end of this video posted in the Berkshire thread.. Looks like some serious downhill there but it might be the Tunnel Road hero section...

The funny part is that the video has a large number of cameos from the Big Bike Drop-o-Rama crew/campers! It was posted by Gary Martin[Motogo1] from CT but I don't think I've ever met him.. Check it out here:

0:30 - koeNick [Nick] gets roosted [open in full screen in HD to see it]
0:41 - Drewha gets hip-checked into the mud/bushes by the same guy!
    0:50 - ChrisReidinger (sp?)
1:12 - koenick gets through the mud (but takes a lot of it with him)
1:25 - AkaRob tackles the mud puddle
1:36 - I come through (not sure who was in from of me on the 1200? one of ours?)
1:43 - ExJake on his air head (steam head in this case!)
    2:07 - tkeskin puddling
5:03 - Jgormley (I am pretty sure.. the three riders earlier than him I didn't recognize by bike/gear but they may or may not have been with you guys?)
    5:07 - Cheesebot
    5:17 - MrT10x
    5:28 - TMLee
6:28 - funny bit where I hope no one was more than bruised. That's not the guy who hurt his leg is it???

9:31 - nasty downhill I assume is in the Super-Hero section or perhaps the sketchy part of the Tunnel Road hero section.. Either way I'm glad I skipped it!

Would love to do this again on the smaller bike.. I could fit a few small bikes and camping gear into the new trailer. 3rd week of june or last week? I could fit 4 people and bikes into the trailer and truck..plus camping gear... could probably stay at one of the campgrounds closer to the ride.. or the same one again.. thoughts?

Depending on the date, I am interested. I also have a enclosed trailer that can fit a few bikes...

I'd probably be in for a Berkshire ride end of June. That third hero section would be crazy fun on a smaller bike.

Anyone want to do some little bike only but not too crazy pachaug loop riding this Sunday if the rain stops? The puddles should be nice and deep by then....

absolutely.... i have sat, sun, mon, tues off.. definately looking to ride some.

any mechanically inclined FF want a free dinner in Newport if you help me put a Rekluse clutch and a Scotts Steering Damper on my Husaberg? I can usually get this stuff done by myself but I always prefer to have another set of eyes on the work whenever I venture into new territory?
