I'd like to hear a report on the A-10 front tires. I have 2 of them brand new and wonder if they are good or not.

hey guys, I know this is a little off-topic, but just an FYI...

There's a Waterfire in Providence on Friday evening, December 14 (that's tomorrow), starting at 6pm after a tree lighting. Santa will be there (who doesn't love Santa!), along with caroling, which has got to be better than the crappy New Age music that's usually part of the event.

While I'm not a crazy Waterfire nut (I'm sure some of you would have expected that I was), it is a cool event when it's really cold. You can feel the heat from the fires and smell the wood burning--it's a great little December treat.

So come on down (or up) to PVD tomorrow night with the family and enjoy the sacred flames! Bikes get special parking.

I'm not a big fan of new year's resolutions, but this year has been truly crappy. It has got to get better.

To kick off 2013, I've started the KTM fund!

(I'm still looking for a 2006 Husky TE610, so if you know of one...)

Wishing all of you a very happy, healthy, prosperous and drop-free new year!

Can you buy KTM's with Stop & Shop gift cards?

It probably works better than a $25 raffle ticket. :cry

good luck with the KTM fund! I'm still working on my "2012 - pay off my ridiculous credit card debt" fund. So it'll be the same resolution for me this year.. I made some solid progress towards the end of 2012 though so I will be starting off 2013 with about half as much CC debt as 1/1/2012, around $10K left.. Still brutal but the $9K+ of 30% interest I had is gone and the rest is under 20%.. easy peasy..

in the meantime it's more used parts for the DRZ when things break and new tires only when the old ones get dangerous! Hopefully I'll have a KTM fund going in 2014...

I apologize in advance for this:

40 degrees is about my enjoyable limit. The big girl is getting lonely.

I don't mind a little bit colder than 40, even 30, but lately it has been too cold and windy to even enjoy working on the bikes.

boys boys boys, it was a fine day for a commute! That windshield makes a world of difference.

I passed two PVD moto-cops this morning on my way back to campus from the ortho. One of them was handing out a ticket. The cop I saw yesterday was also handing out a ticket. Is that all they do is freeze their balls off and hand out tickets?

^^ you are a trooper :rofl

last week I was crossing the Newport Bridge in my cage and 2 Bristol cops passed me on their hogs. They must have been coming from the service for the State Trooper who passed last week. they looked VERY cold, with their open face helmets and race faces on...

I have ridden to get tags in 30 degree temps, but tucked in behind the huge ass windshield/gas tank of the GSA and the Gerbings jacket/pants/gloves plugged in :D my biggest fear in any sub 32 degree day is unseen ice.

In Paris they use these scooter aprons/skirts to keep them warm in the colder months. Makes the men look like pansies but they're French so that's expected.

Hey, I didn't end up on the cutting room floor, thanks Jerry!

    I'm at the 1:55-1:59 mark......even though I don't remember it I was there!:muutt

For 2013 I hope to ride more and work less.
Three months ago I changed employers, similar job just different name on Equipment.:deal

The old work hours were mandatory 6 days on rotating one day off with 12 hour shifts. Did that for six years while the economy was in the dumper.
The new job hours are more normal M-F 5am to 3pm.:freaky

Hope everyone takes lots of pictures and video this year.
