Anyone up for a weekday Richloam ride? Looked at the weather and it should be 60s and clear mid-next-week; perfect.

I'm up for just abut any time midweek, let me know what works.

    Bueller? ...... Bueller?

Conditions are going to be great, tell your boss to shove it and take a day off for riding.

Isn't it supposed to be in the low 30s by mid week? Those woods get pretty cold. I've been out there a (live in Brandon area) couple of times, but I'm always scared to go through too much water on my, new to me, DR650 due to having the OEM wheel bearings, which are only sealed on one side(per online info). I'm currently trying to decide on a good pair of boots too. Last time I went there, it wasn't nice crossing even small puddles with my perforated street. Lots. Lol!

Nope, it'll be 60's/70's and clear for the next ~5 days or so after this rain passes through. Great riding weather, probably the last cool days for.... months.

if you're not riding Richloam during this drought you're missing out. Went up there yesterday for a couple hours, not a drop of water in sight. Get out there and ride before the rains come.

Anyone been around Richloam lately? Has it dried out much? I was thinking about going up there sometime next week if anyone can make a weekday ride for a couple hours. 5 day window between archery and gun season.

Heard the trails still had a lot trees down blocking them.

I was in Richloam last Saturday, it was not as wet as I thought but there are a lot of trees still down in the trails.

Like they stated above, we went there to check our usual spots only found a few muddy areas, but had to put the jeep’s Off-road bumpers to use breaking and pushing trees out of the way to get through some areas. Tried on the bike about a month ago and got tired of having to turn around due to downed trees on most trails.

bow season in richloam right now, gun season starts 11/18 thru 1/14, time for us to give the woods back to the hunter's. we don't won't to be in the woods with hunter's and high powered rifles.
