Nice vid. It is always great to get out of the state and see new things. There are so many great roads across America.

I recognized the Route 2 footage just west of Sandusky toward Port Clinton, Camp Perry and the Powerplant.

How long did it take from Church Hill to Sandusky? From the video it looks like 2 days.

Had a very nice weekend of riding.

Enjoyed the gracious hospitality of one Splitlanes. -Thanks again Ryan and Faith

Spent Saturday at Taskers with my wonderful wife. Wow she can ride, I had forgotten how good of a rider she really is. :lol3

Come west young man. I am here alone, fending off the wild animals, while working hard on a new site pad. Plenty of free space if you want to camp. Indoor toilets, nice covered front porch. Lots of free beds. You bring the meat and I'll grill....

My adult supervision won't be back until Friday :freaky

Anyone going to the Flattrack racing Saturday the 24th at Colonial Downs? 140mph + and no brakes should make for some fun times. I will be bringing my 13 year old son.......

Me, John (P Town) and friend, Andrew and wife, Steve (Cliffy109) are meeting there, we have a 6 man table in the A/C with lunch included. Come meet us for a cold one. I owe you a beer for turning me onto that TW last summer. :deal

I could have made it in one day if it hadn't been for the leaking front tube I discovered before leaving home. That burned an hour and a half changing it, but could have ended my trip all together if it went flat in WV. I camped about 85 miles short of reaching Sandusky the first day.

Hey guys, posting up again since we're getting closer to the weekend. Anyone up for a day ride to the mountains Friday or Saturday? Small bikes preferable.

The wife dabbed but that was a pretty tough downhill left turn, the video doesn't do it justice.

Nice! I can't believe all the WR250R's that are popping up for sale in the area now that I have mine. I drove all the way to New York to buy mine.

Edit: Thinking about ordering a new rear tire before the Shenandoah 500 as the D605 I have likes to slide out from under me, and I would like to run a nice pace. I'm thinking about just putting a Shinko 244 on since it's cheap and I have a 244 on the front right now that seems to do pretty well thanks to Jeremy. It has about 3500 miles on it probably but still has plenty of life left. Any reason I shouldn't go with a 244? I'm mainly looking for what's going to be good off-road, but do want to be able to tear up back roads still as well. Off-road abilities are priority though.

Also, anyone know the cheapest place to get a GPS? I probably won't be able to buy one for a while, but it sure would be nice to log the Shenandoah trip in to something so I can see how many miles I cover that weekend.

I've got a set of 244's on my DRZ and they do great for all my WV rides (gravel/dirt/roads). For the price, I don't know how you can beat them. Hook up great offroad, and barely feel like knobbies in the twisties. Just air up or down depending on what you'll be riding.

That's awesome! I will bring you a whole 6 pack! (as long as there is a store nearby. Or I can just bring it by your house) What do you like to drink?

Edit: I think I had that exact GPS before it got ran over by a car. :rofl I'm going to need to replace the fuze for the AV outlet on my WR. I'm hoping that's why the outlet stopped working.

Whatever cheap, American beer is on sale at Kroger's or even a 6 pack of diet Pepsi will do just fine! I'm not a beer snob, I acutally prefer the cheap, see through stuff as long as it's cold! :lol3
