    Happy New Years you FFs!

Our celebration included the comparison of Moet Candon Champagne and Segura Vindas sparkling wine. The Moet wins, but for $40 difference, we determine the real value maybe $10, anything past that is Label value.
If you need to bring a NICE bottle of Champane... Moet is a sure bet and worth the extra $$.

I'll also add that I have relied on Mumms in the past and it is an excellent brand as well. The Segura Vindas Sparling Wine has a very impressive bottle with intrinsic value of it's own, and was very Bright, fresh, and fruity. Very enjoyable, but the Moet had some age/depth/complexity that raised above.

We ride with the morning Dew/frost...see you at Wawa right damn quick.. Staying up to watch the West Coast Party with Fergie. Party/Ride/Sleep in any combination that works for you. I'll be okay but looking for a nice stiff cut of Joe to get going.

Think about pairing up for 4 mile road.... Time to Fly....

Wishing you all a 2014 full of peace, happiness, good health and success!

One of my favorites from 2013 without a doubt.

Eddy, that pic of you and Gabriel looks like a shot from "Why We Ride" or an ad for KTM.

You should treasure that photo forever. What a great shot. I wish I had a photo like that with my father, doing something we both loved, together.

What a great way to start the new year. Riding with two of my best buddies, Sandy and Luke. So cold the bikes were steaming at the end.

Due to my vertigo issue, I really didn’t get out too much like I have in years past. Rides past the city limits included the Black Ice Ride that Mickey has already covered, COG Spring Fling Rally up in Bedford, PA, COG Fall Foliage Rally up in Lake George, NY, and several rides over in WV…. including a multi-day stay over in Helvetia for the Follow Your Bliss Music Festival, and a day trip to our favorite little diner in Hacker Valley (Rella’s) to hook up with some fellow WV ADV folks for some conversation and vittles. Also can’t forget about H14’s (Kevin’s) long w/e Cow Crap 3 event outside of Harrisonburg.

A few pictures along the way to keep those memories alive (fortunately most without me since I’m usually behind the lens), but the one I am posting was taken at the Flight 93 Memorial during a side trip from the Spring Fling Rally in Bedford. This was the second time I’ve been there, but the first since the NPS has come in and turned it into a fitting tribute since that terrible day. First time I was there was 2 years after the “event” occurred and the only memorial was a swatch of chain link fence covered with photos and a bunch of other mementos that folks had left. And one I'm sure Greg won't forget, the COG Crab Cakes Ride up in North East, MD, and the resulting repair once we got home.

That’s it for me, and hopefully 2014 will have me back out on the road racking up miles like I have in the past where 10-20K miles was a yearly thing.

Well not a photo. Sums up most of the year for me pretty well. Rode my little bike a lot and fell a lot but had a good time anyway.

The fall was spent making all the best tweaks to the DL650 that I now wish I had done long ago.
