I am praying it was a bonehead move and just the side stand switch doing its thing. Can't wait to get home. I found discussions on the ST10's that show when they try to bypass the clutch switch it changes the fuel mapping entirely. For them, there appears to be a map for revving the engine with no load in neutral. When they bypass the switch they are able to get 100% throttle position in 1-3 gears instead of being limited, but at higher speeds the ignition is far too much advanced. I am just hoping for the side stand so I can solder them back together and be done.

My Vstrom also changed the fuel map when the clutch was pulled, so if you bypassed the switch the bike would stall when you pulled the clutch.

You may check to see if there is a relay in the circuit. My Seca 900 had one and all I had to do was pull it to override the switch. The clutch switch was also ties into it.

Progress! I like it! The link to the Google doc for ordering to follow soon.

The graphic will be on the front, left side of the shirt and much larger, centered on back. Shirts/hoodies to be offered in many colors

Does anyone have a collection of 29mm shims?

I checked the valves on my new-to-me KLR and can only fit a 0.005 feeler in one valve.

I'll gladly replace whatever I use. I'd just rather have a couple different sizes on hand before I pop the cams out.

I'm here to tell you my new clutch lever changed my life!

Do you guys have stubby levers that can be used with one finger?

    Edit: that's an odd question.

    I understand "moon wheelies" now...

I was able to keep the stock rubber bits for keeping dirt out. The clutch lever is from Righteous Stunt Metal. Claim is a 50% reduction in pull. Amazing difference.

Our little one dragged their tools down to the garage to help me work on the bikes. He asks everyday to ride the motorcycle.

Nice. That also covers up their logo nicely. ;-) I just bought a set of shorty levers from AliExpress for the AT…

On my KTM I moved the clutch perch as far to the right(inboard) as possible to make it easy to pull completely to the bars with one finger with out hitting my middle finger. It's made keeping a finger on the clutch so freaking easy.

When I've gone back to a regular "full hand" clutch on my other bikes I can't believe how cumbersome they are.

Shoot! We've had a couple of COG rides where bears were involved....... one near Paint Bank where a young bear wound up dead, and the rider scared $hitless momma would come charging out of the woods.

Makes for an interesting ride. :-)

If anyone heads up near Camp Todd can you let me know if there is any water in the North River. I wanted to camp and trout fish the weekend after next.
