Just get a cheaper plastic replacement. I do not believe there is a requirement for a glas lens here in VA. At least, my guys never look for one. :lol3

If it's a stock "s" lens, there's probably no cheap way out, except ebay.

Picked it up @ Kroger...decidedly Yuengling-esque...pour it into a proper glass for best results. One of my favs is still Paulaners' Salvator Doppelbock...

    A chilled Dirt Rag glass?

I got a six pack of a Trogladite Triple Bock for Xmas. Good stuff. I'll have to look at the local arm Fresh for the Yeunglings Bock.

So...there I was, nothing planned for the day...figured I'd run down to CC to bum around and maybe run into Rider929 etc looking & talking bikes as a cheap fix....Well....much to my surprise they had a shiney new 2010 990 ADV in white...it was purdy, tell your friends...then I spun around an BAM!
    a 2010 690 Enduro R :eek1 :tb :tb :tb :bow
    [IMG]
For the last several months they had a used '08 690E which finally sold and I breathed a sigh of relief :knary
Then the clutch in my brain engaged, the gears spinning wildly, I need it, I want it....just last week I decided to focus on getting an '09 530EXC.....no that won't do, I gotta have this beasty....I quickly roamed around the shop for something else to look at....quick, make a mental list of Pro's & Con's.....ahhhh, tank is small, seat is hard, needs an aftermarket exhaust....uuhhhh.....50lbs lighter then the XRL, very streetable, FI, It rips!(I test drove one at the Snowshoe rally)...help.
Quickly drove home, jumped on the 990 and went for a ride to get my mind off it...that worked, sorta...ok, what can I sell to get it....XRL, Cobray M11/9, couple guitars/amps/effects....hell, I got the cash to simply buy it...

Soooo, No, I didn't buy it...I need some Moto distraction tomorrow, anybody riding somewhere?

come over tomorrow, I'll smash your fingers with the BFH I have here. it'll make you stop thinking about that K-Toom.... for a couple minutes.....:lurk :photog :photog :photog :photog
    then we drink heavily....
I didn't see the bock at the new Krogers in Atlee (301) last week...sending momma to peruse tomorrow... while I begin the C14 "periodic service event"

A little more of the same in a link I received.

I have no concept (actually, I do) what riding something would be like. I no longer have the balance and/or skills that would get me anywhere near something like this.

They figured if there were motorcycles, they had come too far down the mountain.

So now I truly believe that my sense of self preservation is well developed, maybe overly developed. At 2:20 when he stopped I wondered if he was lost, then his buddy pulled up.

They keep stopping and looking back and thinking, "I wonder if we'll get back to a real trail anytime soon, we can't find a spot to turn around".
    :D

We all know this is how adventures happen:

    1. You get lost (either intentionally or not)
    2. You start running out of something (eg, food, warmth, shelter, fuel etc)
    3. You keep going, wondering if you'll ever be fed, warm, dry etc ever again.
    4. You make it home and have a story to tell.

    Or......

go on a COG ride; always an adventure.

"Join for the bike; stay for the people"

But, don't follow them. They'll lead you down that path. :rofl
