Yinz go play. I'm working on, yet, another KLR in the shop. Almost, but not quite, a full overhaul to get it back into shape.

As usual, just waiting on parts now. :cry

Why don't we just say 1:00 pm beside Martins on Forest Hill. Its a little chilly today.

Andrew .... Martins is a mile or two west of Powhite Pkwy on the left hand side on Forest Hill. I believe the crossroad is Cherokee Rd. If your coming from the west its just past Chippengham Pkwy on the right hand side. Google shows it in the Stratford Hills Shopping Center.

Mike .... I have the same jack. It picks up my Goldwing no problem. Just remember to set the jack into one of the lift grooves to keep it off the hydrolic pump.

Where do they park and leave trucks or trailers to unload quads? I would need to leave my truck after off loading and don't know if Martin's is cool with that. I've always enterrred from Crestwood ES off Jahnke Rd which is way on the other side of the riding area.

Just pull to the left of martins and follow the gravel road up the hill and go right and over tracks.

THose potholes at top of hill are HUGE and usually filled with water so they don't look so bad.

I'm in! 1:00 pm at Martins, for those of you who have never been there, go to the far LEFT side of the store.

    I have mine charged already.

On the truck parking, didn't someone say that there was a security guard giving people a hard time at the Martin's shopping center? That being said, the ride from the other side of the area does not take too long.

Thanks to Jimmy for the assist with the HF table lift!! Heavy thing.

Unfortunately, it's a piece of shit. Went up about 1/3 of the way, and then ... pfft. Went down and won't go back up. Has oil. I bled the thing till my leg was tired. No go. Put it on its side and I can work the scissors action like the hydraulics bottle wasn't there. Moves completely easily. And of course, the nice girl from India was no help -- apparently they only do technical support by email, and there is a 24-48 hour lag time before an answer. Grrr.

That sucks Rick. Unfortunately, you can get a bad product anywhere you go these days.

Altho' I didn't chime in and make comment - OR - make a recommendation, the words of MOB keep ringing in my ears:

    :rofl

I looked at the ones from HF, but just didn't feel comfortable with the overall looks of its construction. The one I did settle on is a Panther. It certainly wasn't a cheapie, but it also wasn't the most high $$ one out there either. I knew it would be used almost everyday, and rarely it doesn't go up and down less than 10 times on the days I do use it. I hope their customer service makes it right. 300# is a hellava load to be carrying back and forth to the store to get a good one.

"Press 1 for English," to get transferred to someone you can't understand..................." :deal
