    sorry no pictures today.
broke my camera last weekend on the FULL moon ride.

just walked in the door and i have to say, i love that this ride exists....
    it's a GREAT cause and it's a super FUN ride ! ! !:rilla

hit the road at 6:30 and slabbed for an hour to Glen Helen.

after registration and pancakes, i hooked up with a guy named Josh(sorry, forgot yr username) after talking about NOT wanting to listen in on the "ceremony". too long last year, didn't want to fall asleep today.

the route was backwards from last year, which added a new feel to it(but to be honest i liked the way it went last year).

so up Lytle Creek, over to Cleghorn, to Silverwood for lunch.

Josh lost his rear brake so he was maybe gonna slab it back, but he was easily coerced into the afternoon mayhem.

after lunch, it was quick ride up into the hills above Glen Helen which reminded me a lot like Washington State, mud, rocks, evergreen trees, TRACTION ! ! !

a few close calls, one with a tree in the road, the other too hot into a corner that someone ahead of me did the same thing(fixated target) but all in all a smooth afternoon.

we were done by 2:30 or so, which seemed odd, but we skipped the lake loop(which i wished we would have done).

after a few beers with Chris( knlkern) and his buddy, we noticed my new rear sprocket was shot.
i just bought it from KLR650.com and i plan on sending it back.
i slabbed it back down the 210 to L.A.

i can't wait til Chris gets the video editted ! ! ! :deal

thanks for the great ride everyone ! !:thumb

Soooo, that was you sitting with Josh at lunch. Yes, the ride was great and the last section in the trees was very fast.

The OC Dualies did a great job helping put this shin dig on. Watch for some new terrain at next years event!

as razr said, we cut to the chase and got a head start on the ride, i didnt know exactly how long the ride was, and my dad hasnt really riden hard dirt in a while so it was going to take him some time. morning started kinda foggy.
cleared up in about an hour or so...

and just down that trail, my dad loops it. it was whooped out, sandy, rocky, old man hating hill and stock tires dont help. 2 ktms come up before him, one asks, you wait for a dude on a red bike, well ya, hes coming just having a time.

traction was abundent, and so was the water holes, good to see that xr a bit muddy.
bet my dad was glad to see this, the final stint back to pavement, i was hualing balls, jumping some a bit harder than i probally should have, felt like villapoto at glen helen jumping the hill.
all in all, 100 miles after being trucked out. kinda nice to ride then pass out on the ride home for a bit. great ride, and great to see everyone and meet new people too.

hey guys, it was great to ride with everyone. I had a great time rippin' around with Razr, was a blast riding with someone with skillz.

I made it back from lunch with no back brake, luckily the second half was very uneventfull. Hope you see you guys on this ride next year, always good to do a ride for a cause.

I had a pretty good ride on my 950. Until I saw some guy with a broken up mangled leg. They airlifted that guy out of there. I look forward to the next one.
