What do we have to do to get this stickied? Other regional forums have stickies!
Good idea. You have one vote from me.
Starting this ride report now http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=435982
Mr. Farkle has Guatemala Lite - A Desk Monkey's adventure about riding dirt-type bikes on dirt-type roads. It kind of reminded me of the rides Salcar used to offer.
mikepa has Hacking My Way to Tierra del Fuego & Ushuaia hidden in "Hacks." Thanks to Colombia GS for having trouble with Warfield Rider for making noise which somehow through a series of clicks led me to find an absolutely pointless journey and awesome ride report.
Thanks to Pedro Nevaja having "banned" under his name, I noticed Tricepilot's...Into the Blue at Quintana Roo.
Let it be recorded for all posteriers that on this day Philspace made the Latin America Ride Report Link Thread a Sticky.
my 2 cents
One of the few reasons Bananaman will ever use a smilie! Thanks Philspace.
I'm not a Mexico specialist. You find them, and I'll put them on the front page. I added the ones from your sig line- they're in Post #2: Mexico.
These guys are crazy!
Gaspipe has this one: San Pedro Canyon, BCS.... Finally a Mexico contribution!
ss in venezuela just sent me this one by Teddy: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=445932
edit: not ss, but c5. Don't ask me what I was doing in between confusing them. Oops. Anyway... the thread is called La Gran Sabana, and it's pretty cool. Especially since we don't get many from people who actually live in Latin America. Sorry-
Here's a new one, Brazilians riding home from New York:
2 UP FROM 5 TO 9 - from New York to Brazil by luciosiq, starting out late April, 2009.
C5! pointed out this one: Summer '09 - Venezuela to Minnestoa by DiabloBlanco.
We don't get many going in this direction!
Here's another one going in the south to north direction.
SunnySideUp and, ocassionally, some companions tackle South America and, if all goes according to plan Central America and North America. Just depends on whose bike is running at the time.
