Ok, it's been some time since the last post, but here's something new
Last week we were on a ride through south-western Serbia, all the way
to Montenegro border.
Great view and better sljivovica
stunnin pictures friend
Just the tread i was looking for
Question: does anyone have ride the Kursumlija to Kopaonik NP road lately; Is it still unpaved or not?
I think It's still unpaved, and that there are no plans of paving it :)
Tnx nikolic for the fast answer
I check google earth and it seems that a large part of it is paved. The only part that it seems to be unpaved is near the dum (i think that it's a dum or a working dum, not sure) until some kms after Mercez village. I will ask the locals around and probably i will risk it. I don't think it will be hard ever for my bike (2 people full of luggage)
You will have no problem passing it if it's not paved, there's no big rocks and it's very flat! Don't worry, GSXR's can pass it
I just stumbled upon your thread, guys, and it was a great read. The thread title caught my eye, as there are a bunch there a bunch of folks of Serbian descent were I live here in Montana. Heck, even my next door neighbors are Serbs!
Currently i am @ Nis, tommorow i will drive the road
Tnx aggain pal
feel free to share some photos! When you're at Kursumlija, hope you planed on visiting Devils town, you'll
find pics somewhere at the beginning of this topic. I might add that it's the best time to visit Devils town prior
to sundown. It can't get better
I will, once i get back home. I visited Devil's Town, amazing pace! Also the Kopaonik NP was perfect. Super tarmac and nice curves for over 100kms. Also visited, Mokra Gora or Mecavnik or Kustendorf or Kusturica Village. Absolutely magnificent! Last but not least Tara NP & Furska Gora NP are also worth visiting em.
I am currently at Novi Sad, last day in Serbia. Todayi will move on to Romania.
Tnx again for the help
