Just a nice fall ride. Covered about 162 miles ( a little coasting) today. Helped a guy
figure out how to lower his spare tire after a major tire failure. Burgers in Darrington.
Showed a rookie on a DR a short cut between Hwy 530 and FS 18. Enjoyed a brisk
    ride. A fine Fall DAY!!!....

Nice photos and I especially like the creative pine cone shot. Looks like fun was had.

Cat must have had his music turned up way too loud when that tire went, but he must have driven quite a few miles to ruin it like that. Great pic as usual Tom!

Hi Don[WBN], he said he only went about 50 yds. We were thinking that it was a good day to make the loop before the snow flies. There was a few dump~trucks to dodge. Met a DRZ rider[Brady], he stopped to see if we needed help with changing the truck tire, then seen him at the burger joint in Darrington. Fun day and not much dust.

    Hey, Ned,

Are you still paddling the Amazon? The first three days next week look real good over there. I know some old, commercially useless mc guys who could probably make up a quorum. Kelvey?

^^ yes, still riding the sparkplug or pushbike into the Mercer mess on a daily basis. 21,000mi on my 525 now!

Make sure you hit up the Derby Canyon climb to French Corral if you're over that way. Hoping to slap down a lap over to Stormy and down into 25 Mile before it's too late.

Nice pictures Tom. Rotator cuff surgery this fall. Look forward to some riding with you and Turnsleft next spring.
Every time I drive up to Concrete I look up into the hills and see the both of you up there cruising around! (In my mind).

    Did you cross Rat Trap?
    Which direction?
Done it southbound a few times, but haven't had northbound come into play yet.

North to south. Some kinda four wheel drive rig has pushed over the concrete barrier and driven over
the big log at the blockade. The washout is still there.
