Anyone in El Salvador? We are here for a few days then headed to Nicaragua.

We will be leaving for Mexico next week. How has your ride been so far - any sage advice to share?
We are having the time of our lives. My advice is have a great time!!!!!! You will not be killed robbed or molested in Mexico!!! Take less stuff. If you are going to be in the USA for a while and see "parks" get a National Park pass. In Mexico and the rest of Latin America drive like they do. It is sort of a agressive defensive strategy. Topes are hell get a bash plate. Connect with local riders on ADV and HU they will be what makes your trip rock. PM me for any specifics.
Currently in Leon Nicaragua
S - thanks ...yes, plan to have as much fun as possible.
My bike is in Vegas - so heading straight down from there - going to leave my bike in Costa Rica and fly back for work. Where are you guys bound?
We will leave the bikes in Panama and go home to work 3 months in May. Then we will ship to Colombia in August. We head to Ushuaia for Dec 2013.
Will you be able to attend the Horizons Unlimited meeting in Nakusp? Its in August
We have talked to Susan and Grant about that. We are just not sure where we will be yet. Sara
We found some good roads here.
Around Lago Cuatepeque
Backroad from Metapan to El Poy
The twisting pavement from La Palma southbound
The ride from Chaletenango to the ferry
Ferry across to Suchitoto
Riding the cobble in Suchitoto
Nice road around south side of Lago Ilopango
Five Tunnels road on the coastline to La Libertad
Puerto del Diablo
We popped in at liobasco for a quick look
Most of the secondary roads off CA1 are in really good shape. For a small country it really delivers ! The beach areas are ok too
