Today I rode up to Cloudcroft NM, then about halfways towards Sunspot then down past Mayhill to a little roadside stand next to a farm. There, I purchased a delicious cherry cider (locally grown,pre...ssed and bottled). I then went to Mayhill, NM where I ate a delicious Green Chili Cheeseburger. After that, I returned to the roadside farm and paid to fish in the little pond there, where I caught an 18" Rainbow Trout. Let's just say... Nom nom nom!

oh, yeah.. and this is my <edit> second post... I pick my KLR 650 up on Friday! Then I'll have the KLR for dual sport action and the R1150R for touring!

I loved the post. That's what it's all about. I lived in El Paso once and was up there a lot when I did. There is an AMA rally of sorts in Ruidoso next month I'm thinking about going to just to get back into some of the area you wrote about.
