My wife and I are finally getting serious about a trip to Iceland, and we would like to do as much of our travel on a bike as possible. Of course this is the early stages, so I do not know much at this point. We will likely be renting a Sertao from Riding Iceland (we have plenty of two-up time on a KLR, so this will be an upgrade!). We are probably going at the end of June or early July. I am reading through ride reports now, and it looks incredible.

EDIT: To be more specific, what would be a nice 3-4 day loop, traveling maybe 150-200 (more if the riding is easy, less if difficult) miles a day, with a bed and breakfast to stay at each night. Since my wife will ride as a passenger, we would like to avoid lots of stream crossing and the loose sandy terrain I have seen in a lot of ride reports. Gravel roads = good. Wet or lots of sand = bad
