Wasn't there a photo thread on inmates solutions for mounting Rigid Duallys?I would like to get them high but leave them as protected as possible during a dirt nap...more worried about the upper fairing than the Rigids...they are built tough! I did some searches for the thread but no luck so far. If I'm wrong maybe some contributors here?
My thoughts are that maybe mounting off the bottom triple is the best choice...more protected and less disturbance for the already poor aerodynamics of the fairing. I intend to fit a high fender at some stage, so was also concerned about leaving clearance for this too.

Yeah actually I just found them as you were posting...asked if they had one for a high fender yet. Either way, I like building things myself, but they look great and are cheaper than the several hours I would spend accomplishing the same thing. Big shout out for BDCW! Great products, great service!

Yup, BDCW is the way to go for Rigid accessories.
I would not worry about mounting they where they are exposed. These are bomb proof.

Not too worried about the lights. I had thought of using the two upper fairing mount bolts to attach a light bar, but I think this makes the fairing a good target for the lights to impact in a fall

May be it´s too late... I use the "HAWK Light Mount Set" from SW Motech. Fit really great on the 950/990 and i think you will have no problem with the upper fairing (that I don't have yet)...

    Some pics (sorry cell pictures...)

BDCW now has one made for high fenders...posted on their site about a week ago. In the instructions there's only one high fender...sm version maybe that need slight modding. Says should be easy fit for others.

Anyone having any problems with range of motion for the front...or having to reduce the turn radius so the lights don't hit anything at full lock? Would like the lights moving with the front end but don't want to sacrifice what turning radius I have.
