i forget. i got the advice from Kurt at Black Dog Cycle. i think they are spot though.
I bought the spots for the tiger 800. Really impresive distance. But fot the 690 i run d2 driving lights. Better suited for me. Like more the driving lights than the spots

DirtJack, what mount did you use to attach the duallys to the 690 fork?
These lights were on my 990 before I sold it, so mount, harness, and lights were moved to my 690. The mount came from Black Dog (990 high fender mount).
Looks great. Do you need to do any modifications? Any clearance issue? I did email BDCW and they said it may hit the 690 radiator.
Doesn't come close to hitting the radiator, but does lower the fender by the thickness of the mount (1/4") so the two pins on the fender which locate the lower part of the light assembly may be too low to fit into their mounting holes. Mine just barely catch, but you could use zip ties to pull the lower part of the light assembly back to its proper location. All this would affect is the light adjustment range as the whole light assembly is secured by two bolts.
On mine I have put a low profile VisionX ledbar. 3000lm.
