This fella was a special man in his community and will be missed my many.
    Excerpt:

Greencastle Police Department Sgt. Charles Inman told the Banner Graphic that at 9:35 p.m., Hall was northbound on Fillmore Road on her way to work at IAC.
Hall told Inman that as she prepared to turn left into the south entrance of IAC, 750 S. Fillmore Rd., she saw the headlight of the southbound scooter but believed she had ample time and speed to make the turn.
However, as she crossed left of center to make the turn, Hall turned into Johnston's path, resulting in what the police report described as a "violent head-on collision."
Johnston was thrown from the scooter in the collision. He was unresponsive upon the arrival of emergency responders.

    From the article:

Now check her cell phone records.

Personnely, I don't buy her story she saw him and thought she had time to make it. Maybe she did see him, or maybe she didn't and doesn't want to admit she was distracted. Either why this is another left turn fatality.

If she actually saw the bike rider and turned into him anyway her liscence ought to be revoked, WTF. Negligent Homicide should be filled by the CO. Attorney.

somethings not adding up in my mind because I can't figure how pulling out in front of someone ended up being a " head on " collision

These drivers are such lying scum you can't believe a word they say. Someone pulled a right hand turn into me 6 years ago and as I'm laying on the stretcher getting ready to go to the hospital he's telling the cop it was my fault. I said, "He's a f--king liar!" and the guy admitted it was his fault.

Damn that sucks. He must have been pretty close because those scooters can usually stop very fast.

I have almost done the same thing before at night. If the headlights on the bike are overly bright or aimed wrong it can be very hard to tell distance and speed. One of the biggest reasons I hate riding at night around traffic.

I realize that this is ADV Rider and it is commonplace and usually expected to want death and terrible things to happen to people for making mistakes that we have either done or nearly done ourselves but think about it the next time you accidentally try to kill a motorcycle rider by accidentally cutting him off. Will you voluntarily turn in your license and let them beat you with a bat. After all it is what you deserve right.

    RIP.............

We've had two motorcyclist's die here is the the last two weeks. One to a 16 year old making an illegal U-turn and the other to a school bus (full of kids) that did not yield.

"I didn't see him" seems to excuse killing someone.........:cry

A non-motorcyclist made the comment about the 16 year old will have to live with that his whole live............my reply to them was a wife/son/daughter/brother/sister/mom/dad have to live their whole life without this young man.:waysad
