A truly sad event, feeling quite sick inside at the moment as the dangers are brought home and especially happening to one of the best in the world - RIP Kurt.

I was napping and opened up Facebook, first post I see is from a friend about this...scroll down, almost every post was about Kurt's passing. I had to re-read several times to make sure I was reading it right.

    Truly sad, RIP Kurt.

I was looking forward to some good riding and a couple of stage wins by Kurt in Jan.

Will miss his riding. R.I.P hope his family and friends have the strength to keep going.

    So right!

As an American expatriate living in Dakar country (Peru), I was so appreciative that Kurt was our Ambassador for this event. He truly had an unassuming way with all that talent!

    RIP :cry :cry :cry

My god, I'm absolutely floored by this news. So devastating for Kurt and his family. Sadly just before bed, I read an Instagram comment string where someone mentioned how hard it must be to be a parent of one of the competitors and (I believe it was) Kurt's mom chimed in about just having to trust that your child has the talent and skill to pull things through safely to the end. It was a general comment before any of this happened. Gutted. :cry

I would see Kurt every year at the KTM Dealer Meeting and he always remembered me and was glad to see me. What a great guy and a gentleman. He is going to be terribly missed by the motorcycling community.
This is a tough pill to swallow. RIP Kurt Caselli.

Guess you know who your friends are when most of your FB feed is about Kurt.

Vaya con Dios, you were a good one.

As a parent, I can't imagine surviving your child. Hope that his folks can find a way through.

Off Road bike racing just lost its greatest, and he still had more on tap.

    You'll be missed Kurt.

Just saw this news posted on PYNDON's FB page. Devistating news to hear about the loss of any rider doing what he or she loves.

Ride on Kurt in a better place.
