November 7, 2012... Terry was riding in the early afternoon alone on Angeles Crest Highway. Witness's said he took the curve at a high rate of speed - lost control of the bike, fell and he hit the K-rail. There was no cell reception at the location of the accident so someone drove out of the area until they could call for help. It took an hour from the time of the accident until he was air lifted. Terry was conscious/talking but sadly he died from internal injuries before he had a chance to reach the hospital. This accident has been a shock to his family and all that knew him. Terry was talented and wonderful human being and he will be missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him. We love you and will miss you Terry......until we meet again......rest in peace.

Story caught my eye. I drove this highway for one and half years it was always scary, but it was about 14 miles shorter commute from Pasadena (LA) to the Antelope Valley. One time I was passed by a pack of 12-15 cars all on my side of the road every one of those cars were over the yellow line going at least 60mph. I told my boss that week I was done commuting and found a new job when he had no alternative for me. Prayer and somber thought go out to friends and family. Props to wrk2surf for his post he inspired me to write this piece.
