Yep, managed to misquote that one, maybe another coming, fat fingers here
Sooo... plot thickening stuff:
Mookie to replace Bogle - given Barcia's resurgence, what does this mean..
Wilson's shoulder is bruised but he's likely "out" for Houston
Tomac also has a bruised shoulder but no announcment has been made that I can find...
Good luck everybody, pick wisely! |-)
Where do you think Mookie finishes? He's a fantasy killer IMO.
Given the absence/performance reduction of the pre-season favorites, (Wilson, Tomac, Rocsen, Bogle) Houston is gonna be wiiiiide open IMO. I mean, who guessed Barcia would get a chance to return and seize that chance with the performance he had!? (NOT me) Will he do it again? Will Mookie, who's coming off the bench after a year with similar opportunities, do the same? Gonna be a fun week in which I think I'll be lucky to get more than 10 points...
Anyone find an update on Tomac? How are we supposed to place him in our Fantasy pics? The web is suspiciously quiet.
Make sure you put Dean Wilson in your top 5 !
Fantasy killer...AKA Nightmare! LOL! Right, wrong, indifferent, fan or not; those; Stewart boys March to their own drum...
I was snooping around for Tomac news as well. Not a peep. Also didn't see anything about how Roczen's arm felt post race. I suspect the Houston track will be a bit more technical...
Glad to know I wasn't the only one to find nil on Tomac... good luck everyone! My top 5 will be : Millsaps, Wilson, Reed, Enslow and Muschmann....
Also late but in. Thanks Pat for getting it going!
wow, i just submitted my picks and you guys are right. It is wide open. I think Marvin is still hot, but after him its anyone's game. So many contenders.
I think Eli will either make or break it with this race. We will see how bad he is hurt... or not!
IN! Thanks for getting this going. Crispy450 just off the podium.....
I've been following Barcia, always been a fan. I had an idea that he would be competitive. He's got a new lease on his racing life and is having fun again. I can't imagine Yamaha taking the ride away if podiums again, even if Milsaps gets healthy.
RacerX injury report from yesterday: http://racerxonline.com/2018/01/11/injury-report-houston
I'm guessing you all are savvy media followers, so you've probably seen it - if so, let me know if links like these are unnecessary and I won't post em.
Thanks for the link. It's helpful.
Me too. It doesn't hurt that he's running my ole racing number 51! I met him in 2014 at A2 and told him he was running MY NUMBER! LOL! He just smiled at this gray haired lady and genially autographed his post "To the REAL #51!"
I have been disappointed in his performance over the past couple years. I hope his success continues. I can't help but wonder if there would be some "bumping and bashing" if he and Anderson go head to head.
The current leader, Kline58 scored 112 points last week to my 20. I need to borrow his crystal ball! Good luck ya'll!
Eli is racing on Saturday, no real report on his shoulder.... http://racerxonline.com/2018/01/07/eli-tomac-suffers-shoulder-contusion-at-anaheim-1
I certainly hope they have fixed his pants by now! LOL
Lets see....last year a rock to the master cylinder resulted in a custom billet guard. I wonder what they're gonna come up with for his pants buckle? And don't they have duct tape in the pits? One wrap around, with a vertical piece for the front 'vent' if desired and back out there!! Fixes everything...do we gotta go help em?
Personally, my Fly gear has a velcro strap that you can use in addition to the buckle...maybe we'll get some closeups of Eli's new setup! (Our lady members can watch if so...I AIN'T LOOKIN')
The whole thing just sucked....a wardrobe malfunction that likely cost him millions.
Wouldn't have happened if he was wearing Dubinky.
Maybe 3 zip ties, one should do it, 2 for backups
Best take a close look at ET during practice and qualifying, especially if he crashes on his shoulder again
Ohhh... that's how I get my butt kicked... you pros watch practice *then* adjust picks... duly noted....
