No. It's flatter than it might seem, but it's just flypaper for idiots. Rock Store is only a mile away, so riders aren't even warmed up after being distracted with 80 bikers standing around.

That was the scariest thing I've ever seen. I don't think I could be persuaded to take my bike on that road after seeing all those cars all over that road.

edit: after watching a few more videos the motorcycles aren't much better.

Already better than Killboy as I haven't seen any home built 3 wheeled Harley BBQ Smokers combo contraptions with straight pipes to save the lives of squirrels...yet

Looks like everybody (at least many) lost traction at the exact same spot in the pavement.
A little invisible slick spot makes for some lively pics and videos. :huh

The non-ATGATT riders stay in the city and on the freeways.

That does seem to be quite a coincidence. They all seem to lose it right after that dark section of road.

It's amazing how many poseurs don't know how to ride. They all seem to crash at fairly low speeds. We are talking track day conditions here.

    Fortunately for them, of course.

I've riddent that stretch a hundred times. I hate that corner---not because it's technically difficult-- it's not. But one moment you're cruising along and the next thing you know there are telephoto lenses pointed at you. By the time you see them, you are already turning the bike and it's easy to take your eyes off the apex. It's distracting as hell.

Ditto. And also you never know when you might have an idiot coming the other way on the wrong side of the road (cars or bikes).

I'll only ride that section of the snake early morning before the photographers have set up, and the idiots are still sleeping.

Looking at the slow motion shots, there appears to be a small bump in the pavement that causes the initial loss of traction.

Looking at the high side vid above, I don't see too much suspension movement before he loses it but there are plenty of tire marks in the same place.
