I rode the north end of Mulholland to the Rock Store last week.

Too early for anyone else much to be about, I was on my way to turn in my Tiger 800 rental.
Gee, I went far over the posted speeds and didn't fall down. What's all the crashing about ?

Doesn't look like much really. Mostly it looks dangerous because of the driveways and residential areas. I tried to look for some stats to compare with my local roads but couldn't find any. I think we have much worse turns out here in my neck of the woods. But you know, it is LA. Doesn't Paris Hilton set the standard for intelligence there?

You got lucky and cheated death. Hundreds of riders die on that corner every weekend.

    Cheated death ?
Kind of reminds me of the last time I was in California. I flew out and rode this rig home to Kentucky for a friend.
I gassed up before heading up to Angels Crest and the guy at the gas place said " Sometimes people go up there and don't come back . " and then he crossed himself.

Sometimes people (young dads particularly) go out for milk and don't come back. :lol3

That sounds really bad! Or, like utter bullshit, one or the other...

That guy should have spent the money on riding lessons, not fancy paint and stickers......:lol3

If you are in mullholland riding a bike will be your fault for not knowing any better than doing that.

^^ suddenly it all makes sense... Do you realize how slick partially coagulated blood is? And now we have a road soaked in it

Not a photoshop. The shadows are all correct, the sun is at lost high noon and the moto rider's shadow just looks stretched out but in reality is from the riders lean angle. Plenty of room for rider to adjust line.

    LOL,,,,,,,,,,anyways.

So I guess it's been slow along that part of the road, I havn't seen any recent 'incidents' on that corner. Are the cops watching it like a hawk???

Holy cow, that must have hurt. Could be Photoshop, but it looks scary.

Is there a rider error here? It looks like the rear started going before the revs started ramping up. Rider claims cold tires.
