    Look like nice country.
    I understand getting onto trails that at the other end say keep out, but I'm not sure about rubbing it in and identifying a larger group of riders who will all be guilty by association. I think ADVRider, besides promoting riding, wants to promote respect for property and the environment.

    How did you mange to stop with the front caliper detached and rear brake is almost useless on the KLR! :lol3

    Fortunately I was stopped at a lake and was just getting started again when I heard a weird noise. I torqued the remaining bolt and went slow back to camp (14 dirt miles & 45 road miles) and didn't touch the front brake.
    A local hardware store carried a replacement.
    After owning this KLR for 8 years, pretty much everything is weak, but it has been reliable during my solo adventures.

    This was a combo fish/ride/camp/scout for a buck.
    If it was 'double doe' season I could have harvested two with one chunk of lead:

    One thing I noticed was the lack of deer in open cattle country. Must be a food competition thing.
