We're already having one. It's called BYOB. It is not bike-type specific, but there will be plenty of road bikes there. We've already held BYOB at Willville two years ago. This year it is in the Hocking Hills of S.E. Ohio.

Certainly you are free to do what you want and organize accordingly, but it seems to me there really isn't any reason to exclude anyone just because they don't ride a street bike. I'm sure no one is going to tell me I can't go to BYOB if I show up on my Harley or my FJR, especially since I'm involved in feeding everyone that Saturday night :D

Ofcourse no one is excluded you could show up on a tricycle all that matters is that you are there and have a great time so come one come all and I did not mean to step on BYOB's toes with this suggesstion:D

I'm not suggesting that you are stepping on BYOB's toes - instead I'm suggesting that you or whoever reads this go to BYOB if you haven't signed up already. You wouldn't have the burden of planning an event, and it's only six weeks away!

If you're acquitted or get probation, there are several other rallys over the summer.

Right in the middle of the country. Right in the middle of the Ozarks and some of the best "road warrior country" in the USA.

I would love to attend a "street bike" rally. I would also like it at any of the MC Campgrounds off the BRP or Dragon. I just don't know when I can do it this year. September is always best after everyone goes back to school & work.

A beautiful small town. Great place for a rally. You can camp in the city park if you want, or there's lots of cheap motels. Very motorcycle friendly town. I'm in if we can agree on this place. I'll be taking a trip up there May 18th just to bum around for a week.:clap

    [Carl]:
    1. Pick a spot.
    2. Announce a date
    3. Have maps
    They will come.

Willville is a great campground. Nice roads nearby and Will can point you to many. (Squirrel Spur is entertaining).

Farther south, I like Hunt's Lodge, just south of Tellico Plains. It's on Rt 68 and just the other side of town from the Cherohala Skyway.

TWO in Suches, GA is another great spot.

Haven't been to BRMC in Cruso, NC for many years so cannot comment.

In Ohio, "Top of the Caves" campground is motorcycle friendly.

Leith Run is on Rt. 7 twixt Marretta and New Matamoras (Frontier Grill yummy breakfast!) and closer to the "entertaining roads".
Even closer to "The roads" is "Burr Oak State Park". It's on 78 just a few miles from 555. Sabmag (Honda v-4) has had an annual event there the past few years. We rent a block of cabins (but they have camping) and have a ball.

I was there a couple years back. New bridge, nice place, great spot. It was off-season so I can't comment on the grub.
