    Very cool trip.

Amazing how North American history seems just a tad too fresh in comparison. I'm ready to go. Thanks for the write up.

Thanks Dwayne for sharing your pics and experiences! Can't wait to see it myself! I want to do it on a bike so the rental tips were helpful!

Splendid photography Dwayne!! That brought back vivid memories of my youth going to school in Aberdeen and Stonehaven. I walked up those steps to Dunnottar many times in school uniform and a football under my arm. '71-'72

Ill join you for a ride this summer. (and a pint or two)

RR, I was in Ireland a year or so ago and saw St. Patrick's Grave. Very cool in that area- very much wanted to be riding on the narrow lanes- instead of driving.

    Great report

    Great stuff, Dwayne.

You've captured a beautiful country in a beautiful manner.

    Thanks for sharing it.

Some really rich color (colour?) in those photos! And man, you can really pack light!

I'll add my Scotland RR (from October 2005) to this thread for more Highland enjoyment! Wish I had a digital camera back then.

welcome to my back garden. The road from Alford to Grantown over the Lecht is my favourite piece of riding. the roads can be sandy after the winter and there is always the odd deer and sheep to contend with. If any inmates are in this neck of the woods drop me a line

Thanks for posting your Scotland ride, Dwayne.

Reminds me of my visit to Scotland, manyyyyyy years ago. I wish I had done so wonderful pictures, I like especially your fotos of the distilleries and Castle Urquharty.
