I'm not sure if it's all back together yet, my mechanic was farting around with it. I'll check when I get home next week. So far so good I haven't missed trips because of my bike, it's always work.

I just bought a low mileage '02 640 Enduro. You just need to spend the time with CL search engines. I was actively looking at 3 at the same time. Bought the one with the lowest miles in the best condition for short money.

    " '02 640 Enduro "

    A 2002... :D

6500 miles. Still had the original tires on it. Quietest 640 engine I've ever heard. Last year imported and red. Clean as a whistle too...

Guy's, I got an Canadian insurance card:deal from Gieco. It's free, just have to ask. Don't know if you need it but I thought I'd throw it out here.

Nice! Might want to check if the main bearing upgrade was done. I have a 2002 640Adv and it needed upgrading. And maybe rebuild the water pump as preventative maintenance while your at it.

I'll be checking the main bearing when I put in the Rekluse! I'll be using this for the occasional trail ride in the tight technical stuff (selling the 200 EXC) but want to keep the tall street gearing for the rest of the time. Slipper clutch to the rescue.

    Si!

That's what I used to locate the 640. It just "happened" to be on the way to a location where I was working a few weeks ago. Gee, what a coincidence! Didn't hurt that he was so freaking far from anything that I think he was having trouble selling it. Worked for me... it followed me home in the trailer.

Are the skeeters and black flies bad during June? I'm trying to figure out what to pack.

As I recall, it was the deer flies that got to us, while waiting on an oil delivery:evil

So, we lit a signal fire to keep them at bay, and, being so far north, to stay warm:lol3:rofl:freaky:deal

    IS IT JUNE YET?
