Dacre is done and Rally Connex is now advertising the Rock Hound. Anyone planning on trying this ride out? Apparently the camp ground has a big party at the end of the ride! :freaky

We're talking about it and will likely sign up. Last year we were the big bikes with the 690s and had fun with the "under the bridge" optional and the "over the rocks" power line section. Bike has a little scar from the latter.

I haven't been able to find any info about fuel stops or how many km's. Is this a 250 2 stroke friendly kind of ride?

The off road route has fuel stops every 100km or less. The support truck will also be at certain spots within the route to help out riders with small tanks. The ride will be awesome on a 2 stroke.

That's awesome to hear. I think you just made up my mind. :)

Another question if ya'll don't mind. Obviously I won't be riding my bike up from Toronto, so how would it work with a van and trailer? Could I just "camp" in my mini van on a "tent" site with my trailer?

The only other time I've camped and rode was on the roaming rally last year.

I went on that ride this year and a few people did what you mention... As a matter fact the majority of people came in on trailers as well. Last year they put us all together up on the hill and I think if you show the best intentions to put up a tent that they don't really care... So sleeping in not a big deal as long as you don't broadcast it I would say...

There are 4 different routes to choose from. Looks like an Adventure Big Bike ride with gravel / Pavement, and 3 levels of Trail rides to choose from. Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced. All three of these routes have challenging options. RC has been posting a ton of videos to watch.

I called the camp ground this morning to find out all the cabins are fully booked but there are still some full service sites available and camp sites. Get your shit in gear if your planning on going to this ride!:dutch
