I have a set of these on my R1200GS along with a Techclusion... the difference is huge. I wish I had done this with my R1100S when I had it. Maybe I should buy a set just to have in the supply cabinet. :D

    Sergio,

They are on special at the moment. :D

Everyone who installs them are more than happy for what they do for the way the bike now rides.

Just to clarify what Rocket Sprockets are for those who do not know.

They were developed by myself in 1999 and are 9 degree advanced cam timing sprockets for all R259 motors from the R850 through to the R1200 up to and not including the twin cam model.

They lower the torque and horsepower curves 800 to 1,000 rpm lower in the rev range or to the left on the graph moving the torque where you can use it better in day to day riding.

They improve part throttle response, help smooth the engine vibration and in most reported cases improve fuel consumption by up to 15% as reported by some customers all dependant on the model they are fitted to.

    Hey lennie,

Thanks for the quick (10 days) delivery. Got the sprockets installed over the weekend. I have put in around 150 miles so far, and I am VERY HAPPY with the sprockets. Had no problems on the install, the directions were fine.
To those still undecided, these work as advertised. It is not a dramatic difference, but it is a definate improvement. I would do it again.

    GSGSGS,

    I sent the sprockets today.

In future I need to receive funds in Australian dollars as when I do the conversion at PayPal it gives a different conversion rate to the transaction conversion rate.

    PayPal :rofl

All seconds are sold so 0 sets left.

The new sets are still a good deal and offer the same value for money as the improvement in fuel consumption will have them pay for themselves in a few tankfuls.

Thanks to all who have purchased sprockets to date.

    All seconds are sold.

I still have new sets at $220.00 Australian and that includes international registered mail to your door.

The savings in fuel will pay for the sprockets in fairly quick order and the extra fun is worth the cost.
